Dr. Anand Y Joshi is currently working as a Professor in Mechatronics Engineering Department at G.H.Patel College of Engineering & Technology, Vallabh Vidyanagar, Gujarat, India. He completed his Ph.D. in the year 2011 from Mechanical and Industrial Engineering Department, Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. His research areas include Areas of vibration, nano biosensors, nanomechanics, fracture mechanics, computational mechanics, functionally graded material, carbon nanotubes, Optimization, Finite Element Analysis etc. He has to his credit more than 50 publications in various Journals and conferences of high repute including one of his articles published by Nature India and an article published in a Journal, Physica E: Low dimensional systems and Nanostructures, Elsevier Publishers, being Cited as one of the Top 25 hottest articles of the Journal and the Most cited article of the Journal since 2008. He has been the recipient of a number of Research Grants of more than Rs. 25 Lacs, including the start-up research grant which is awarded to Young Scientists below the age of 35 years by Department of Science and Technology, Govt. Of India, New Delhi for his project on Computational Investigation of Dynamic Characteristics of Carbon Nanotubes for Atomic Scale sensing of Objects. His overseas presence includes
